The botanical garden of Augsburg was founded in 1636 as a "city nursery" and is now one of the most popular destinations in the Fugger city. Located on the edge of the Siebentischwald, directly opposite the Augsburg Zoo, it offers peace and relaxation in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the big city.

The Botanical Garden Augsburg is served by bus line 32; the bus stop is right in front of the entrance area. Due to its central location, it can be reached from the city center (Königsplatz) by public transport within 10 minutes.
