There is naturally no place for a large fountain in the living room, on the balcony or on the terrace. A small fountain, on the other hand, fits almost anywhere - especially if you only need two clay pots and a clay bowl. We explain how this small air freshener is built in no time at all.

You need these materials
You don't need many materials for this pretty mini fountain that can even be installed in the conservatory or in the living room. You should get this at the hardware store:
- 2 clay plant pots of the same size with drainage hole at the bottom, size as desired
- 1 glazed clay bowl, larger than the plant pots, without drainage hole
- 1 small submersible pump with matching hose
- small pebbles or other gems
- silicone for sealing
How to make the clay pot fountain
And this is how the little gem is made: First, drill several holes around one of the two clay pots. These should be in the lower half pointing towards the bottom of the pot. Be careful though, the clay breaks easily. Now place the clay bowl in the desired location and fill it with water. The small submersible pump - be careful, only choose a low power, otherwise the water will splash too much! - hide in the undrilled clay pot, which you place open side down on the bowl. Now place the drilled clay pot on it so that the two drainage holes are exactly on top of each other and the water can flow unhindered. You can also glue the two pots together with silicone, then they will hold better. The hose, in turn, is attached to the pump and fed up through the drain pipe. Then you can start decorating the small fountain:
- Fill the bowl with the gemstones.
- The upper clay pot is also filled with the stones.
- The pots can also be painted or pasted.
Waterproof, maybe colorful LED lights provide additional effects and also make the stones shine beautifully. After connecting to the socket, the water is pumped into the upper pot by the pump and exits from the previously drilled holes.
tips
A simple mini fountain can be made not only from clay pots, but also from a single, slightly larger and drilled stone. You can achieve pretty effects with the choice of spray nozzles.
