If you would like to garden in a confined space, for example on your balcony or in the yard, then you can build a great bed out of Euro pallets. A raised bed made of pallets is also a practical alternative in the garden.

The raised bed made of pallets
For a raised bed you need at least four pallets, one for each side. It grows about 90 centimeters high. Assemble the pallets so that the "smooth" side is on the inside, then you can create additional planting opportunities on the outside. You can find examples and building instructions for different variants of a raised bed on the Internet. Use your imagination or use the suggestions of other gardeners.
The table bed made of pallets
With Euro pallets you can not only build a raised bed but also a practical and versatile table bed. Since you don't have to bend down with a table bed, care is particularly easy and at the same time easy on the back.
You build the bed from a Euro pallet, which you mount on supports. This can be an old table frame or Euro pallets that you saw to the desired height. Line the pallet with foil and fill it with soil.
The balcony bed from a pallet
Even on a small balcony there is enough space for a mini garden. Build a bed from a Euro pallet. This is very simple and is suitable, for example, for a herb bed. However, you have to redesign the palette a little and maybe paint it colorfully. The exact instructions can be found on the Internet.
Remove every second board from the pallet and fasten these boards in such a way that boxes are formed together with the remaining boards when you stand the pallet upright, boards run horizontally. Line the boxes with foil (e.g. pond foil). You can plant directly into the boxes or fill them with pots as you wish. Preferably choose plants that stay relatively small.
Options for a pallet bed:
- Raised bed made from several pallets
- Table bed made from a horizontally mounted pallet
- Balcony bed made from an upright pallet
