In no time at all to the self-made swing bench

The easiest and fastest way to build a swing bench yourself is to use an existing wooden bench. You can get these for little money at almost any hardware store. Saw off the legs of the bench and attach ropes for hanging instead.

When attaching, make sure that your swing bench cannot tip over. Leave the legs attached to the wooden bench and add skids to it and you have a standing swing bench.

A rocking bench made from euro pallets

You can build a swing bench from Euro pallets yourself relatively easily. You can find these at reasonable prices on the Internet, as well as so-called one-way pallets. However, these are less stable and may have been treated with wood preservatives. They are not suitable for building a resilient swing. Instead, use high-quality Euro pallets that have not been treated with poison or wood preservatives.
