Where feverfew feels at home, it can draw on its full potential. It is therefore important to recreate its original location (coastal areas on the Mediterranean Sea) in this country and to plant it there.

Feverfew has more flowers in a sunny location

The sun in sight - but not too much of a good thing

Feverfew produces the most flowers in a sunny location. It also grows excellently in semi-shade, but develops fewer flowers. A sheltered location is not necessary as the perennial is rather small in stature.

The soil at the site: richly filled, moist and permeable

Normal garden soil is usually suitable for feverfew. It should have the following properties if possible in order to drive the plant to peak performance:

  • relaxed
  • permeable
  • humorous
  • nutritious
  • slightly calcareous
  • moderate
  • wet

tips

Feverfew only tolerates full sun if it receives a lot of care in the form of watering. Otherwise, it becomes susceptible to diseases.
