Some providers even state the temperature range as 12 to 34 °C. But don't push your luck too much. It's not just about the java moss staying alive. Every crop deserves good living conditions. And of course we also want to see a healthy, well-growing java moss in the aquarium.

The java moss is also an adaptable plant in terms of water quality. The water in the aquarium can be slightly acidic or neutral, with a pH of 5 to 8. It grows in fresh water, but it also survives in brackish water.
