The delicious blood plum prefers sunny to semi-shady places. These varieties thrive in tubs, on orchards or beds.

When is the ideal planting time?

As soon as the autumnal dormancy begins, you can plant the Prunus cerafisera. It should be noted that only young specimens survive a change of location. Do not replant older trees or shrubs.

When does the growing season start?

This species flowers in early spring. They delight from April to May. Subsequently, blood plums produce sweet fruits.

How does this ornamental tree reproduce?

The blood plum is mainly propagated by grafting. Wild shoots and sowing do not lead to the desired result.

Correct plants

Prepare a planting hole. This should be twice the size of the root ball itself. The next step is to loosen the soil.
