A eucalyptus enriches your home both as a houseplant and on the terrace or in the garden. If you choose the right location when planting and take the other tips on this page into account, the deciduous tree will thrive magnificently.
A eucalyptus needs sun and space

Eucalyptus need a light location. Staying on a south-facing window sill or terrace is ideal. Preferably place the tree somewhat sheltered.

Keeping the tree in a bucket is highly recommended for the winter, as you can bring the tree indoors in this case. Placed on the balcony or terrace, its intense scent keeps mosquitoes and insects away. Note that other plants may suffer from the eucalyptus if you plant it in the bed.
