A hot pepper plant has a high water requirement. Always keep the substrate moist and only water the soil and not the leaves. At the same time, it is important to avoid waterlogging. It is best to use lukewarm, stale and soft water for watering, for example clean rainwater.
Location and weather protection
With regard to the requirements of the location, keeping buckets is very advantageous. Cultivated in a pot, you can constantly move your plant and thus create optimal conditions for external conditions. On the one hand, the vegetables need a lot of light and warmth, on the other hand, they must be protected from the wind and must not rain wet. These requirements are usually met under an eaves, especially since, as mentioned, you can constantly move the pot. A window sill is also a good place to store it. However, you should note that heating air that is too dry could be harmful in winter. If you want to put your peppers in the ground, you must not get frost. So in winter you will inevitably have to dig them up again. The rest of the year, cozy warmth accumulates in a greenhouse.
Fertilize
Young plants in particular should be enriched with organic vegetable fertilizer (€7.49) every two weeks. Nettle manure, for example, is recommended. Artificial fertilizer, on the other hand, is not good for your peppers. When choosing the remedy, make sure that there is little nitrogen - but all the more magnesium content. When the first flowers appear, this is a sign to stop fertilizing.

The hot pepper must be overwintered in a moderately warm but bright place. Under no circumstances should this be done outdoors in freezing temperatures. The minimum limit is 5°C. It is not until late spring that the weather conditions are right again to put the pepperoni in the fresh air or to plant them.
