Geraniums or pelargoniums, as the popular flowers are correctly called, can be found on many balconies and often also in flower beds. Their lush, long-lasting flowers and dense leaves make the plants a real feast for the eyes. So that you can enjoy the numerous flowers for a long time, you should provide your geraniums with sufficient water.

Water geraniums properly - Here's how
Your geraniums will stay healthy and bloom continuously if you observe the following rules when watering:
- If possible, water in the morning before sunrise
- water twice a day on high heat
- then also in the evening after sunset
- never water at midday
- never water on the leaves
- always just water the soil
- Never water geraniums in just one spot, always spread the water all around
- do not water with cold water
- use stale, warm water
- Avoid waterlogging
tips
Even after a summer rain, there may still be a need for water, especially with balcony flowers, because not enough moisture has reached the earth. The large leaves of geraniums always keep a lot of water away, which is why you should determine the actual need by finger testing and water if necessary.
