What should be considered when planting the morning glory?

Since the thin tendrils of the morning glory are not very tear-resistant, the early young plants should ideally be planted out in a compostable seed pot or at least with a carefully dug up ball of earth around the roots in the garden. The morning glory, which is not hardy, grows very quickly under suitable conditions and can enhance unsightly spots in the garden with its pretty funnel-shaped flowers.

Which location do morning glory prefer?

The morning glory grows particularly vigorously and floriferously in locations that are as sunny as possible. Since a lot of water evaporates through the leaf mass, the water requirement of the plants increases in line with solar radiation and temperature. So that you don't have to water constantly, you should, if possible, ensure that the lowest part of the plants with the soil around the roots is more in the shade. Morning glory seeds should be planted on the windowsill from the end of March to the beginning of April so that strong plants are ready for the planned locations in the garden by the end of May.

The morning glory is grown from seeds, but please note:
