    Lawn sprinklers for large areas are commonly made of plastic or metal. While plastic sprinklers cost less but also last less, metal versions are characterized by their enormous robustness and longevity. However, they cost more and can rust. With plastic, on the other hand, rust is not an issue. The material is considered to be relatively weather-resistant and easy to clean anyway.
