Here you can take a first-hand look at the natural history of Schleswig-Holstein. For example, did you know that around 11 million years ago, various species of whales roamed this region? The fossil Vale chain, which is unique in Europe and was found near Groß Pampau, bears witness to this and can be admired alongside many other exhibits in the museum.
