Prepare the site and plant begonias

To ensure that begonias bloom early and for a long time, you should plant the tubers in pots from February and start growing them indoors. Begonias are thirsty. Especially on hot summer days. Give them lukewarm water 2 to 3 times a week. Avoid waterlogging. It destroys the roots. Their permanent flowering requires a lot of strength. Therefore, give liquid fertilizer once a week with the irrigation water. Or mix storage fertilizer under the soil.

Even if begonias are considered hardy, there are of course pests and diseases that can make life difficult for them. But usually only if you treat them wrong. Rot, mildew and gray mold are usually the result of wet conditions. Too much or too little sun attracts spider mites.
