Self-prepared food for dogs should be varied and vegetables should not be missing. Cauliflower has a high vitamin C content and with potassium, calcium and phosphorus it provides dogs with important minerals. However, cauliflower is only digestible for dogs if it is cooked.

Boiled or steamed
Cauliflower is well tolerated when boiled or steamed. Because of the risk of flatulence, it should only be fed to dogs in small amounts. Like other vegetables, cauliflower needs to be pureed. This is the only way the dog can benefit from the valuable vitamins and minerals.
If you notice that your dog does not like the cauliflower or does not tolerate it, you should feed it a different type of vegetable.
tips and tricks
Vegetables are not your dog's favorite food? You can mix it with foods that your dog likes, e.g. Meat, yoghurt or cheese.
