Verbena - a bedding and balcony plant that not everyone has. But in order to enjoy it for a long time, it should be offered a suitable location.

Site requirements of verbena: sunny and humid
Given a choice, verbena would choose a spot in full sun in a location sheltered from the wind. The shadier the place, the fewer flowers the verbena will form.
It makes no special demands on the soil. It tolerates acidic and neutral as well as alkaline substrates. A very sandy or loamy-clay substrate increases the maintenance effort. Verbena prefers to grow in soil that has the following characteristics:
- humid environment
- well drained
- moderately nutritious
- humorous
tips and tricks
It should be noted that verbena requires a nutrient-poor substrate when sowing. Later, this must be replaced with a more nutrient-rich substrate.
