There are sufficient parking spaces for bicycles not far from the entrances. In the park itself, the bike must be pushed out of consideration for other visitors.
description
This green lung of Hamburg covers an area of 45 hectares. Extensive green areas are pleasantly shaded by impressive trees. Beautifully laid out plant borders and flower beds structure the grounds and ensure a varied design. Lakes and babbling streams run through the park and create islands of relaxation. The many seating furniture, often placed in particularly quiet, cozy places, are not only used by the employees of the surrounding companies for relaxation.
Integrated into the park is Europe's largest Japanese garden, an oasis of tranquility in the middle of the urban jungle designed according to the rules of Asian garden design. Rose and apothecary gardens with their variety of scents and colors are other visitor magnets. Lovers of exotic plants will get their money's worth in the greenhouses. The public gardens with their seasonally changing appearance invite you to stroll and linger.

The spacious playgrounds, equipped with a wide variety of equipment, are extremely popular with children of all ages. You can do your laps for free on Germany's largest open-air ice rink, which becomes a skate park in summer. Miniature golf, trampoline and open-air chess complete the sporting offer for the whole family.
