- After sowing, the seeds are watered.
- Onion sets should be watered after planting.
- If the stem of the young plant thickens, it needs more water.
- Regular watering is beneficial, but waterlogging should be avoided.
- If you want to store onions, stop watering them shortly before harvest. The drier the onion, the better the shelf life.
