Although fungi are mainly found in meadows and forest soils, under suitable conditions the spore plants often appear in the vegetable patch. Of course, you have to remove mold from the vegetable patch. However, if it is a normal spore fungus that can also be found in forests or meadows, control is only necessary for visual reasons. Its appearance has no effect on the yield of your vegetables. However, these mushrooms are by no means suitable for consumption. It is advisable to remove the fungus, especially if children or pets are often unsupervised in the garden.

Mushrooms in the vegetable patch indicate an ecological imbalance. In this case, you offer the fungus a harmonious habitat through care mistakes. However, since fungi are also part of a biotope, you should never use chemical agents to combat them.
