Preserving grapes requires little work, is done quickly and makes a delicious stock. You can also choose the best for you from countless recipes.

Instructions for preserving grapes
Prepare enough sterilized glasses. What type of glass you use is up to you. You can achieve the same good results with normal jars, twist-off jars or jars with swing tops. It is important that you boil the glasses or sterilize them in the oven at 100 degrees for ten minutes.
- Wash the grapes thoroughly. It is best to use seedless grapes.
- Pluck the grapes from the stem. Damaged and moldy grapes are discarded.
- Pour the grapes into the glass, leaving about 2cm of space at the top.
- Prepare a sugar solution for canning. Boil the water and sugar until the sugar has dissolved.
- Add some lemon juice.
- Let the brew cool down.
- Then pour the brew into the glasses, the grapes should be completely covered.
- Dry the rim and seal the jar.
- Preserve the grapes in a preserving machine or in the oven.
In the preserving machine
Do not place the glasses too close in the kettle and pour water up to half of the glasses. Cook for half an hour at 90 degrees.
In the oven
Here the glasses stand in 2 cm of water in the fat pan. Preheat the oven and then bake at 90 degrees for 30 minutes.
The glasses cool down a little in the device, then they cool down completely under a cloth on the worktop.
Pour four glasses of grapes into wine
you need for that
- about 1300 g seedless grapes
- 600 ml white wine
- 600ml of water
- 400 grams of sugar
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- for each glass five cloves
Boil the white wine, water and sugar in a saucepan and add the spices. Simmer until the sugar has dissolved. Now add the cleaned grapes and let everything cook for another 5 minutes. Fill the jars with the hot compote and seal the jars. Turn them upside down to create a vacuum.
