Grapes are a popular fruit that is often eaten as a snack. The juice pressed from them is just as healthy as the grapes. Grape juice is available in every supermarket, but the juice you squeeze yourself is fresher and of better quality.

Things to know about grapes
Two types of grapes are harvested: the red and the white or light colored grapes. Both varieties contain many
B vitamins that promote nerve and brain well-being. The sugar it contains causes a short-term rise in blood sugar levels when consumed and thus provides quick energy.
If grape juice is too sweet for you, you can make a refreshing spritzer with mineral water.

If possible, use fresh fruit, wash it and drain it well. Before you start juicing, you must sort the grapes, which means that all specimens with bruises, rot or mold are removed. Then remove the stems.
- Place the grapes in a large saucepan with some water. The grapes should float in the water. If you have harvested a particularly large number of grapes, you must juice the juice in several passes.
- Cook the grapes until the skins burst.
- Prepare a large bowl, place a fine sieve in it and line it with a fine cheesecloth.
- Pour the cooked grapes into the colander.
- For a higher juice yield, press the pulp of the grapes through the sieve with a spoon.
Juice the grapes cold
You can also squeeze a small amount of grapes by hand in a cloth and collect the juice in a bowl. This is of course exhausting and really only recommended for very small amounts.
The juicer is of course also suitable for cold juicing. With the help of a screw press or a roller, she juices fruit and vegetables in a particularly gentle way. All vitamins and nutrients are preserved with this method.
If you want to juice grapes with the juicer or the slow juicer, you should choose seedless grapes, as the seeds are crushed during pressing and their ingredients can get into the juice.
If you want to keep the grape juice for a longer period of time, you have to boil the juice once and pour it into sterilized bottles while it is still hot.
