Prepare pallets
You must prepare the pallets before assembly. The wood is often very rough, so you can easily pull in splinters. Therefore, carefully sand the pallet beforehand.
Then paint the pallets in the desired color. A coat of paint also makes sense because the color protects the wood from the weather.
Pay attention to stability and security
If you assemble the garden table from pallets, make sure that all screws are countersunk on the surface. The table legs must be screwed very well so that the garden table can later carry sufficient weight.
A garden table made of pallets is easier to keep clean if you attach a thin sheet of Plexiglas to the surface. You can get these panels at hardware stores. There they are cut to the required dimensions on request.
