Not every garden owner likes a paved path, even if it is durable and easy to maintain. If a less durable covering is out of the question, you can cast your garden path out of concrete yourself or use paving slabs that you cast yourself.

A concrete garden path is a simple but not a really nice option

How do I water a garden path?

If you want to pour the entire garden path out of concrete, then first mark the path and dig out the soil. Tamp down the ground and set curbs if you wish.

Then pour the concrete evenly about 8 centimeters high on the path and smooth it out. You can decorate the wet concrete as you like by pressing in baking molds or pebbles.

Variants of self-cast garden paths:

  • pour all the way out of concrete
  • Pour paving slabs yourself
  • casting stepping stones

tips

If you've never poured concrete before, it's best to start with paving slabs or stepping stones.
