What is behind the term Feng Shui?

  • Glory: a fireplace, fragrant roses or lilacs, lamps and stone lanterns
  • Family: Seating area with a wooden bench, a fountain, vigorously growing plants such as bamboo or summer lilac
  • Children: playground equipment, sandbox, berry bushes, round beech trees, small snack garden with vegetables
  • Partnership: square beds with red and yellow flowers, a rock garden or cottage garden
  • Wealth: wooden buckets with geraniums or high-stem roses, a fountain as the water source
  • Knowledge: Plants in shades of yellow, orange and brown, an arbor as a seat, gravel bed or rock garden
  • helpful friends: small seating area, yellow gold flowers like daffodils, metal chimes
  • Tai Chi Center: Gravel areas, statues or a herbal spiral as an eye-catcher

If you create your garden according to Feng Shui, it must not appear overloaded. Flowing transitions and recurring colors create calm and serenity in appearance.
