The lucky charm does not need much care. It blooms reliably, even when grown in a pot. However, you must ensure that the flowers are fertilized so that you can harvest seeds. So simply leave blooming lucky clover in a pot outside for a few days. Pollination of the lucky clover by bees and other insects is not a problem outdoors.
Seed pods containing many small seeds develop from the flowers. They must be picked and then stored dry until sowing.
Of course, you can also get seeds from garden retailers.
When do you sow lucky clover?
The best time for sowing depends on what you want to multiply the lucky clover for. If you want to keep the lucky clover as an ornamental plant in the garden, sow it directly outdoors in spring as soon as there are no longer any frosts to be expected, i.e. usually at the end of May.
If you want to give away small pots of lucky clover for New Year's Eve, sow the seeds in autumn.
