The Easter cactus is a popular houseplant for a reason. Its flowers have a slightly exotic effect and are plentiful. The limb cactus is also quite easy to care for, but makes some demands on its location.

The Easter cactus likes to be bright but not too sunny

The Easter cactus likes it warm and bright, but it does not tolerate the blazing midday sun well. Therefore, a bright west window is more suitable than a south window. Here the plant should be protected by a curtain or blinds at midday. In winter, your Easter cactus needs a cool hibernation at around 12 °C so that it will bloom profusely again next spring.

The ideal location for the Easter cactus:

  • bright
  • warm
  • not in the blazing midday sun
  • cool and light in winter
  • do not change location during flowering!

tips

Don't move your Easter cactus while it's in bloom, or the beautiful splendor may come to an end quickly.
