A very special plant grows in the vastness of Kenya, where it sometimes doesn't rain for months. The native Zamioculcas zamiifolia, also available from us under the name Glücksfeder, has adapted perfectly to the living conditions there. The succulent plant has become a very popular houseplant with us, and it ensures a healthy indoor climate, especially in the bedroom.

The Zamioculcas is in good hands in the bedroom

Sleep better thanks to fresher breathing air

The advice is usually not to place any plants in the bedroom - these would rob the sleeper of oxygen, since indoor plants tend to emit carbon dioxide at night due to the lack of photosynthesis. Well, you really shouldn't place strong-smelling plants in the bedroom - they could result in headaches. But plants with large, green leaves such as the Zamioculcas in particular ensure better air in this room. The plant is able to filter harmful substances from the air and also produces fresh oxygen at night.

tips

In order for the Zamioculcas to feel comfortable in your bedroom, it should be neither too cold nor too drafty. The plant prefers temperatures above 18°C.
