The money tree is a succulent. It stores moisture in the leaves. You must not water the easy-care money tree too often, as it does not get waterlogged. Tips on watering money trees properly.

The money tree needs little water

Water the money tree sparingly

A money tree should never be too damp, but of course it shouldn't dry out completely either. The root ball should always be moderately moist inside. If the roots are in the water for a long time, they begin to rot and the plant dies.

Cast only when the surface of the substrate is completely dry.

Don't water too much. Drain off excess water that collects in the coaster after 15 minutes at the latest to prevent waterlogging. Outdoor money trees should not be placed on saucers so that rainwater can run off immediately.

tips

The money tree does best if you water it with rainwater. However, it also gets along with normal tap water if it is not too calcareous.
