- Spider mite infestation
Don't water too much!
Water sparingly. The root ball should only be moderately moist. Any water that collects in the coaster should be poured off immediately.

The money tree does not like locations that are too dark and it reacts with yellow leaves.
Identify and treat pest infestations
Yellow leaves can also be caused by spider mites. They appear mainly in winter and can be recognized by small webs that are mainly noticeable on the undersides of the leaves, occasionally also on the branches. Sometimes you will also see small white dots.

If the money tree gets red leaves, there is no need to worry. The red coloring on the leaf edges is caused by strong direct sunlight. However, this does not damage money trees.
