As a single tree, the cypress comes into its own when sufficient distance is maintained from other plants and buildings. It should be at least 1.5 meters planting distance.
Planting distance in the hedge
If you are in a hurry, plant three cypresses per meter. The planting distance is then about 30 centimeters.
If you can take your time, two plants per meter will suffice. The planting distance should be around 50 centimetres.
