Airy locations are therefore important - ideally in east or west locations.

Suitable tubs and planting

  • Pot depth: 40 to 60 cm

  • Plastic buckets are not suitable (heat up quickly and offer no protection against frost)

This tub rose needs a lot of care. Unlike outdoor roses, it needs regular watering. This is not only important in summer, but also in all other seasons. The earth should never dry out. It is poured directly onto the soil without wetting the leaves.

A special long-term fertilizer for roses is suitable as fertilizer. This is often sufficient for half a year. If necessary, it can be fertilized. In addition, fertilization with potassium is recommended, towards the end of July. As an alternative to the long-term fertilizer, you can use a liquid fertilizer. This should be added to the irrigation water once a week.
