Blue daisies do not tolerate frost at all. As soon as the temperature outside drops below zero degrees, the flower dies.
However, blue daisies can be overwintered indoors. Before the first frost, bring the flowers indoors and place them in a cool, bright spot. The ideal hibernation temperature is 6 to 14 degrees. During the winter, the plant is watered sparingly to keep it from drying out.
The blue daisy is only allowed on the balcony or terrace after the ice saints, when there is no longer any danger of frost.
