In winter: Better to stay indoors
It is advisable to house Viburnum tinus in winter. The winter quarters should be bright and cool between 1 and 10 °C. In regions with mild winters, the plant can stay outside - but should be protected from direct sunlight.

In cool regions, you should preferably plant your Mediterranean snowball in a bucket. So you can easily put it in in October and overwinter it safely.
