The first flowers of most indoor calla varieties appear in the flower window as early as January. The flowering period of the summer-flowering calla begins in May. Onions planted outdoors bloom a little later.

Spring flowering calla
Calla plants grown indoors bloom in January. With good care, the flowering period can last until April or even May.
After the flowering period, the pot can be placed on the terrace until the calla lilies go to winter quarters in autumn.
Calla blooming in summer
Some varieties are summer bloomers. They show the first flowers in May and only stop developing new flowers in August.
They should then move to a cool spot in the bright stairwell.
