You can hardly influence the daily growth of up to five centimeters with appropriate care, nor the maximum height. But you can do something to prevent elephant grass from spreading throughout your garden. Thanks to strong rhizomes, it likes to do that. Be sure to put a root barrier in the ground when planting.
