The rain can come
Do you have thin sheet metal and don't know what to do with it? How about a rain cover. Not a simple canopy. When the thick drops fall on the sheet metal, they only produce annoying noise. Build yourself an umbrella instead. To do this, however, your sheet metal must be flexible. Bend individual sheet metal parts and build them together so that a round shape is created. Now all you have to do is cut curves into the ends to create the typical umbrella shape. A metal rod bent at the lower end serves as a handle.

Flexible metal rods are ideal for weaving figures or threads. Spheres, fences or abstract works of art, there are no limits to the imagination.
The slightly different garden planting
- Bend several metal rods into large eyelets.
- Put them together to form a flower.
- Cut a circular disk out of a piece of sheet metal.
- Attach these to the center of the flowers.
- Put the flower in the garden bed.
Suns can also be made this way.
Decorative garden fence
- Drive two large wooden stakes into the ground.
- Drill evenly spaced holes in the stakes.
- Now insert metal rods into the holes.
- To create a mesh look, stick long metal rods vertically into the ground.
- Use the grid as a climbing aid or attach wind chimes or colorful broken glass to the bars.

Animal creative
Use spiral metal springs as animal bodies. Tubes serve as the neck and head, while you bend sheet metal into ears. With screws you give your new pet a face.
