Flowers in a bouquet or in a pot are popular gifts for birthdays, weddings, parties or other festive occasions. Bouquets are usually already attractively wrapped in the flower shop, but flower pots rarely have packaging. The beauty of the flower certainly speaks for itself, but the pretty packaging is an additional eye-catcher.

Ways to wrap a flower pot
There are countless ways to wrap a flower pot nicely. Depending on your personal taste, simple wrapping paper or cellophane with bows and nice decorative items is enough. Here there are no limits to personal imagination.
possible packaging materials:
- colorful paper plate as a coaster
- Wrapping paper in different qualities
- newsprint
- corrugated cardboard
- Decorative ribbons, raffia, silk ribbon, jute ribbon
- wooden box
- crafted boxes made of cardboard or construction paper
Flower pot in cake lace
You need an old beer mat, transparent tape, a nice cake topper, various decorative ribbons depending on the occasion and clear film.
- Place the coaster (or a piece of cardboard of the same size) in the center of the cake topper.
- Place the flower pot on the lid.
- Now carefully pick up the cake top from all sides up to the edge of the flower pot.
- Try to make regular folds.
- Tape the tip together by taping the tape under the rim of the flower pot on one side and then wrapping it around the pot once. This is how the tip holds together.
- Now you can tie one or more ribbons of your choice around the pot. If the band slips, fix it with the clear tape.
- Now pull the tip down a little so that it lies around the flower like a wreath.
- Now take a piece of cling film at least three times the length of the flower.
- Place the flower in the center of the cling film and bring the corners of the film together, facing up over the flower.
- Press the film protruding at the side loosely onto the flower pot and fasten it again with transparent adhesive tape (lead the adhesive tape around just under the edge of the pot and allow it to overlap).
- Now tie the foil together over the flower with a decorative ribbon.
Flower pot in a shoe box
If you don't want to wrap the flower in paper, you can make a pretty planter as a gift. A disused shoebox, for example, is suitable for this. To do this, reduce the size of the box so that the flower pot just has space. Shorten the side pieces, bend the bottom up as a fourth side and secure with tape. Now you can spice up the box as you like with:
- small paintings
- many colorful stickers
- glued colored paper
- different tips
Just let your imagination run wild.
Now place the flower in the pot. With a packaging in transparent film, the flower looks even more noble.
