Daffodils burst with happiness with their bright flower cups and flower bells. But in order for them to stay healthy and bloom for a long time, they need water. What is important when watering?

When does it become necessary to water daffodils?
Normally, daffodils do not necessarily need to be watered in the garden, provided they have been planted in loamy soil and there are no dry seasons. In contrast, potted daffodils should be watered regularly.
The following must be observed when casting:
- use soft water
- for potted daffodils: add fertilizer to the irrigation water at the same time
- higher water requirement during flowering
- Water well when planting
- water several times a day when it is hot
- keep soil moistured
- sensitive to waterlogging
tips and tricks
If the substrate has dried out, you should water several times in a row. Otherwise, the water will immediately flow through the dried-up soil into deeper layers. Repeated watering can soak the soil with water.
