The resemblance between Mediterranean coriander and Vietnamese coriander is amazing. There is, however, a difference on one fundamental point. While real coriander as an annual umbellifer is not suitable for perennial cultivation, Vietnamese coriander as a knotweed plant offers aromatic herbal pleasure for several years. How to hibernate:

- If the thermometer falls below 10 degrees in autumn, add Vietnamese coriander
- place on a sunny windowsill at 18 to 23 degrees Celsius
- water moderately and fertilize organically every 2 months

The vitality of the Asian herbal plant is significantly strengthened if it winters cool and dark at 5-10 degrees Celsius. In this case, cut the coriander back to one pair of leaves per shoot before putting it away. Only water the plant enough to keep it from drying out. No fertilizer is given until next spring.
