Use peppermint oil against mice
The rodents do not like the strong aromatic smell of peppermint at all. The aroma is particularly concentrated in peppermint oil.
You can make peppermint oil yourself by soaking fresh peppermint in oil in the garden for a while and sealing the bottles airtight. Alternatively, you can get the oil in a health food store or in specialist shops.
Mice control with peppermint oil
Put a few drops of the oil on cotton balls and stick them in all the mouse holes.
A few drops of peppermint oil will also mask other edible smells that mice are attracted to.
