Gerbera - beautiful flowers in many colors
The gerbera cannot deny its relationship with the dandelion. The flower consists of a flower head, which is light or dark colored, and a ring of inner and outer tubular florets. Depending on the variety, the flower diameter can be between five and 15 centimeters.
The flower colors range from plain white to pastel pink tones to strong yellow and red. When finished, the flower resembles a giant dandelion.

The flowers of the gerbera always turn towards the light source. That is why the cut flowers in the flower shop are always stored upside down as darkly as possible. This keeps the stems nice and straight.
