Whether monochromatic in yellow, red or pink or bicolored - the tropical-looking flowers of Canna are beautiful. Here are good tips to really enjoy the flowering period.

Accelerate and extend flowering time
Canna starts flowering in June and can last until the first frost. To speed up the onset of flowering (flowering from May), canna should be propelled indoors between January and February:
- Plant rhizomes deep in the soil
- put in a warm place
- water only when shoots are visible
- Plant out from May
In order for flowering to last for a long time, you need to pluck the withered petals. As a result, new flowers form on the cane. Alternatively, you can cut off the flower.
