They are at their most beautiful when they are in bloom, the primroses. But not everywhere do their flowers shine with vitality and show enviable endurance. What characteristics should the site have?

Primroses need a lot of light to grow. But not too much of a good thing! They do not like a full sun location. Partially shaded locations, for example in a north-west to north-east direction, are more suitable. In the apartment, too, primroses should not be placed on a south-facing window sill. There they dry up quickly and the flowers tend to wither due to the high temperatures.

When planting, primroses should be planted in nutrient-rich soil. Other beneficial features of the earth include:
