The cat is sneaking curiously through the bed in the front yard again. Since the latest, there have been motley blooming horned violets. Do these pose a potential danger to the cats, who like to nibble on plants?

Horned violets are not poisonous. Both humans and cats need not be afraid of handling these plants. They are even edible and make a valuable garnish on various dishes.
You can plant the horned violets in the bed, on the balcony and elsewhere without worrying. All parts of the plant are harmless. Horned violets are also harmless to the following pets:
- hamster
- Rabbits
- Guinea pig
- dogs
- birds
