When does the gentian bloom?
The blue gentian, Clusius gentian, is most commonly planted in the home garden. But yellow and white varieties are also increasingly conquering gardens.
The flowering time of the individual varieties:
- Spring gentian: March to August and autumn
- Clusius gentian: May to June
- Kochscher gentian: May to August
- White gentian: June to August
- Yellow gentian: June to August
- Autumn gentian: September to December
