Ferns need moist soil
Ferns love moisture and need it to stay healthy and resilient to pests. As soon as temperatures are above 16 °C, ferns should be watered regularly so that their root ball is and remains moist.

- Use lime-free water (stale tap water for indoor ferns)
- use lukewarm water rather than cold water
- provide good drainage before planting
- Avoid waterlogging
