Dahlias, sometimes called georgines today, are completely non-toxic. They are therefore the ideal floral decoration for gardens, terraces and balconies, even if there are children or animals in the house.

The dahlia is not poisonous
Dahlias do not contain any toxins. Even if children often play in the garden or dogs and cats spend a lot of time in it, you can plant dahlias without hesitation.
You can even eat dahlias!
Not only is the dahlia non-toxic - it's actually edible. A hearty salad can be made from the leaves. Many dishes can be wonderfully decorated with the flowers:
- cocktails
- soups
- fish platters
The aroma of georgines is spicy and sour with a slightly earthy aftertaste that goes particularly well with fish.
