  • Fresh yeast (cubes)
  • about 1 kg of sugar
  • water (lukewarm)
  • 10 liter watering can

Dissolve the yeast and sugar in the water. Pour the mixture into a watering can and fill it up with water. Let the organic compost starter steep for two hours.

Then pour the yeast-sugar-water mixture over the compost heap.

The weather should be mild. Temperatures around 20 degrees offer the best conditions for using the compost starter.
