The African ring daisy is a very decorative ground cover. From May to September, its two-tone flowers shine in the garden. They are mostly colored pink and white. The flowers open every morning and close again in the evening.

When it rains, however, the sensitive flowers remain completely closed, because the African ring daisy does not tolerate too much moisture. It prefers sun and sandy soil. Since there is practically no information about possible toxicity, it can be assumed that this plant is not poisonous. However, it is not advisable to eat the leaves and flowers until proof of non-toxicity.
