Every year the fruit trees show themselves in their lush white-pink blooms. The insects are attracted by the brightly shining petals, which carry the pollen from flower to flower and thereby pollinate them. Most fruit species have white to white-pink flowers, but some species and cultivars also have pretty pink flowers.

These fruit trees have pink flowers
Many Prunus species, especially peaches, nectarines and apricots, bloom lavishly in a light to dark pink. Apple, pear and cherry trees, on the other hand, usually have white flowers, but some varieties - especially old varieties - sometimes also have pink flowers.
Apple
Most apple varieties have a deep pink flower bud that eventually blossoms into pure white. Pink flowers, on the other hand, have old varieties such as 'Graham's Jubilee Apple' or 'Kronprinz Rudolf'.
peach
The peach tree (Prunus persica) in particular is known for its lush, pink flowers. This appears in April and is highly endangered by late frosts.
nectarine
The nectarine, which originated from the peach, also blooms in rich pink flowers.
apricot
Apricots (Prunus armeniaca), which are called apricots in Austria, often also bloom soft pink.
almond
The real almond tree (Prunus dulcis) also shows beautiful soft pink flowers.
tips
In order for the tree to show its blooms every year, you have to cut it back regularly.
